They were open, responsive and and immediately fought our battles for us when negotiating with and choosing our vendors. Their advice was absolutely invaluable through out the entire planning process and through out the wedding as well. Their recommended vendors were absolutely perfect. They were able to sense our style and help us realize what we wanted for our wedding.
They helped us take all of the little pieces we wanted at our wedding and put it together into a ceremony and reception that was so much more then we could have ever hoped for.
We’ve all heard horror stories of things going terribly wrong at weddings, or at least their are always a few thing don’t go as planned. With The Double Knot at the helm I never felt more worry free. With Linsey and Leah calling the shots we got to enjoy and absorb our wedding as much as possible. I’d say if there were any problems we didn’t notice them, but I honestly think they pulled it off with out a hitch because our wedding was everything we had hoped for and then some.
Their impeccable planning and attention to detail aside, through the process of planning our wedding, rehearsal dinner and a 65th birthday party for my father in law Linsey and Leah have become family. They are absolutely beautiful people with amazing families and we could not have pulled off our wedding without them. We would recommend them for any event and we will absolutely be using them again.

I really didn’t think much of hiring a wedding planner since I am in the wedding business as well. Even if I knew what to expect, hiring a wedding planner makes the day a lot more enjoyable since you have a team of people working out the logistics for you. Instead of stressing about the timeline of events you could just enjoy the day.
When we met the owner to go over the general breakdown of the day, man, was she prepared! She broke down the day in 10 minute increments so no details were left out and all of our strange requests were covered. We hired her a month before the wedding so most of our details were panned out, however, she was able to iron out the details better. She met with our Pastor and Reception venue manager to make sure everyone was on the right page. Two weeks before our wedding we went over the final timeline and checklist for about three hours so everything was finalized weeks before our big day. On the rehearsal night, they were at the venue ready to keep everyone on track. She took charge and made the night smooth and worry-free. During the rehearsal dinner she had her notepad out just in case there was anything missing. Everyone was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail.
On the wedding day they met us at 10:30 AM to make sure the vendors were on time... hid me from my bride-to-be... made sure the ushers were greeting guest and seating them. They lined everyone up and made sure the photo/video team were at the right places. I noticed the flowers, runner, and other decorations were set up nicely. They timed the processional correctly, and at the reception, they dismissed each table to the buffet one at a time, continued the program with speeches, dance numbers and lots of fun.While we were tearing it up on the dance floor TDK was packing our vehicles with all of our wedding props so we didn‘t have to clean up at the end of this night. This wedding would not have been the same without the Double Knot! Hire them, it’s worth every penny!"

If you are reading this, you are probably a bride or someone amazing enough to do wedding research for her! I write this to spare you the time of searching any further! The Double Knot were beyond what I could have ever dreamed of in wedding coordinators simply because they treated my wedding as if it were THEIR wedding! No kidding, these twins had walkie talkie ear pieces and everything on my big day, making sure everyone was exactly where they had to be at all times! They were professional, incredibly organized and were ALWAYS thinking 10 steps ahead, even after I thought I had everything covered!
Bottom line, if you are spending the money on even having a wedding, its important to invest the money on enjoying it too! Don’t believe the myth that you have to have to have a $50,000 wedding to have a wedding planner, take it from a girl who planned her wedding on a budget! My husband and will forever say that hiring the Double Knot was the best money we spent on our wedding hands down!

The wedding coordinators at The Double Knot are the best! As expected, they were kind, helpful, polite and helped to organize and run the wedding event so that everything went as smoothly as possible. We are a Chinese couple and wanted to do a traditional Chinese tea ceremony on the wedding day as well, and The Double Knot had no problem accommodating and helping to coordinate that as well.
What we appreciate most is the connections they had with other venders. Our cake vender, DJ, photographer, videographer, florist, officiant…all were recommended by the wedding coordinators and we were very impressed with each of them. Very highly recommended!!! I don’t know where to start! I have so much to say about The Double Knot Linsey and Leah! When I spoke to Leah on the phone she was so excited to plan my wedding from the beginning to end! Leah had explained to me that her Sista was pregnant and she had just delivered her baby boy. I asked her, if it would be a problem planning my wedding and being a new mother. She said it would not be a problem and that her sister will be available after she delivers the baby. She chuckled and said, “Don’t worry we will both be there for you.” They were!!
Months went by and I began to panic. My biggest fear was those darn PLACECARDS! I called Linsey and told her I was a nervous wreck and how was I going to sit 200 guest. Linsey gave me several ideas. I took her advice and all my place cards were beautiful.
These ladies are amazing. Not only are they amazing, but they were patient, nice, professional, humble and organized. I did not have to worry about anything. When they noticed that I began to worry, Linsey and Leah were right by my side to handle any worry I endured. Trying to seat 200 guests was no problem for these ladies. They were perfectionists. I had extra guests and we all know how that goes. Linsey and Leah were able to seat everyone without any confusion.
The reception room was immaculate. Linsey and Leah set the room exactly how I asked. I was so amazed with the job they did, I wanted to cry, but didn’t want to mess up my make-up. It was funny because I could not distinguish who was who because they looked just alike! Duh, they are twins! I kept calling Leah Linsey and vice versa.
You cannot go wrong with these ladies! They eased every worry and made my wedding a night of comfort and a night to remember. All my guests LOVED my twins Linsey and Leah. My friends and family are calling me asking me for the Double Knot’s information for their next party. All guests said that they were remarkable and definitely know how to plan a wedding.
Just know that they are on time! All my meetings with Linsey and Leah I was late, but they were there at the designated location waiting patiently with a big smile.
Speaking of rehearsal, we had a blast! Linsey and Leah provided me with a check list of all the things I needed for my special day. I was so amazed with how they were so organized. They asked for my check off list and loaded all my things in their car for the next day.
I trusted these young ladies with all my heart. My wedding ring was 4 carat and I allowed them to keep my wedding rings overnight! I also paid them upfront. They could have run off, but nope, they were honest and prepared for the next day!
I have so much more to say, but if you are looking for a coordinator, make this a one stop shop!
